I Want

I Want

I want to recieve

from You.

I want to open

my mouth and

hear Your word

come out. I want

to get to my feet

and go where

You lead. I want

to hold out my hands

and see You touch.

Everyone I meet

and everywhere

I go I want to

go in Your name,

to Your praise, to

give not a piece

of myslef but

the fullness of God.

I want to burn

footsteps in the

earth to mark

where Your fire

came to scorch

the enemy,

where You set

the captive free,

where the clink

of breaking chains

is drown out only

by the praise to

Your righteous name.

I want to see

Your glory go

forth and cover

all the earth, to

see hearts that

were made of

stone cry out as

they become fertile

ground for the

harvest. I want to

see works and deeds

fall away in place

of an honest offering,

a humble heart

willing to take part

in Your will. I want

to see the enemy

flee before the body

that no longer plays

defense but has

gotten off the bench

and is on the march,

reclaiming lost

territory and

proclaiming authority,

that uses the keys

You put in our hands,

according to Your plan.

And most of all

I want the world

to see the goodness

and the love of the God

who came to set it free.

Do you care?
Contributed by Tim Soeken
Monday, 23 January 2006

How deep is your faith?

How real is your understanding?

To what extent do you believe?

To what degree have you sought after truth?

Are you the author of your own religion?

Or have you bought into someone else’s teaching and ideas?

Have you followed some few key things you heard as a child?

And tried to justify the death and compromise in your life?

Do you really know the Jesus that you claim to know?

How diligently have you sought after Him?

Do you know His character?

Are you amazed at His every response to your every action?

How much truth are you really aware of?

Do you check your heart regularly to make sure it belongs to one and only one?

Is there any good reason at all for your heart to belong to one?

Why Jesus and not Allah?

Why Jesus and not one of a thousand Hindu gods?

Is there a difference in what The Pearl of Great Price teaches?

What did the first Buddhist believe?

What does the diligent Buddhist today believe?

Are Muhammad and Gandhi related by ideal, theology, or family?

What did Brigham Young teach about Jesus, Satan, Heaven, and even Adam.

Does one man in a distant country have any real authority over a small church that he will never visit, or is that the idea of a foreign government?

Should the church be run like a government at all?

Does the Bible have any real authority?

Says who?

Do you know who Constantine was?

Do you care?

Do you know what Saint Augustine introduced into modern theology?

Is everything Augustine said correct just because he is Augustine?

Is man capable of making mistakes?

Is man capable of making mistakes with good intentions?

Do good intentions make everything okay?

Do you know if you are going to Heaven or Hell?

Do you care?

Whose authority do you trust in?

Are you basing eternity off of a good feeling that you had one time?

Are you basing eternity off of what someone else once said?

Do you believe in eternity?

Can you balance grace and works?

What is the point of baptism?

What is the one thing that Martin Luther started doing that every denomination, including Catholicism, does today every Sunday that the original churches did not do?

Do you know how the eleven remaining disciples died?

Do you care?

Would a horrible torturous death cause you to change your opinion?

Would you be burned alive for what you believe right now?

Do you know how many times a day a Muslim prays?

Have you even thought about praying today?

Do you know the definition of lukewarm?

Do you know where it is used in the Bible?

Does the Bible talk about women and their roles in the church?

Does the Bible teach you how to get rich?

Do you think Jesus cares?

Does God want your money or your life?

Do you have any clue?

Who is your best friend?

Have you ever cheated them?

Have you ever stolen from them?

Have you punched them or spit on them?

Have you ever thought about trying to kill your best friend?

What about your dad?

Have you ever beat your wife to an inch of her life?

Would you ever let your wife be raped?

Would you turn your eye as your daughter plays the harlot for her boyfriend?

What about the whole neighborhood?

Do you realize what this man Jesus went through?

Do you know how He acted through the whole process?

Have you ever been spit on?

Punched in the face?

Beat with rods?

Has anyone ever whipped you with bones and rocks entangled in the straps?

Thirty-nine times?

What would you do to a person who hit you?

If someone made fun of you, had his buddies hold you down, and then put a nail through your hand, who you tell him you love him and mean it?

What would you do if your son one day came to you and told you he did not care about you and was going to live his life the way he thinks is best, and that happens to be as a male prostitute?

How would you feel if you pushed your child from the path of car and got hit yourself, only to have your child come and laugh at you and walk away?

Do you know what you believe about God?

Why?

Does is sound good?

Or feel good?

Does gravity exist?

How do you know where it came from?

Does gravity still exist even if all the power goes out in mid-flight?

Does God change?

Is He here now?

Can you neglect so great a salvation?

What Happened To The Power Of God?
Contributed by Mike Bradford

What happened to the power of God in the body of Christ? Satan has disarmed us by offering things and stuff for us to get occupying to our self centered life style of the works of the flesh. We can not have the power of God working throw our lives when we are serving SELF. We have to get back on our knees and seek God's face again. You think in the natural that we are losing the battle in Iraq? The in the Spiritual reaml we are really LOSING the battle, many are wouned spiritualy, we just have to get God back at the Head of the fight, focused on the End. Is GOD the means or is He the end? Stumbling Blocks to Revival
Contributed by Evan Schaible
Friday, 16 December 2005
“Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people. For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” -Isaiah 57:14,15 In the same way John the Baptist was a voice crying in the wilderness preparing the way of the blessed lord Jesus, the body of Christians that inhabit the earth at this very moment have the lofty privilege of preparing the second coming of the lord Jesus. Sadly many shun the office and would rather sit back in the seat of complacency and watch the lost world around us perish and be lost forever in the ceaseless flames of eternal hell. I think now is the time to remove the wicked and ever present stumbling blocks that hinder the coming of a earth shaking, status quo shattering revival. I heard it once said that revival is when God gets so sick and tired of being misrepresented that he shows himself. Today, God is misrepresented more often than not. In fact, the most popular Christian teaching today is so liberal that it is damning to the lost that come to the altar. We offer them heaven and an eternity of peace with no repentance! I have been reproached and reviled and cast out of many ministries for the simple and essential message of repent. To use a word from brother Ravenhill, if you are going to preach repentance, you better dedicate your head to heaven. I would like to add your ministry as well. Because in the poor misbegotten church today, your ministry will not stand within a church building if you so much as mention repentance. Is this not a stumbling block? Is this not to be removed?! In the gospel according to Luke it says that repentance was to be preached in Jesus name. Today the message is not repent and trust Jesus Christ for your only means of being saved, it is be baptized and give us money, but trust whoever, whatever whenever you want to, we don’t care. Where there is no vision the people perish, and sadly there is no vision of a place of eternal fire where the lost as well as Satan go on the day of judgement. There is no vision of an eternally holy and perfect God. There is no vision of the judgement that will fall upon this country and the world if we don’t in some way remove the stumbling blocks from among the people. There is no vision of holiness in the church because holiness to the church is like repentance to the world. When repentance is removed from the eternal and only gospel, once preached unto us by the apostles and Jesus, then the gospel loses its power. “Let all who name the name of Christ depart from iniquity”, this is the best summary of the gospel I can find. “Men and brethren what shall we do?, repent…” These are timely words for us today, repent. God is merciful to his people. Our holy righteous God is so merciful he led his chosen people into captivity under pharaoh for hundreds of years. Our God is so merciful he left the entire earth darkened for four hundred years with no ray of light to shine through. He left the earth silent for four hundred years with no prophetic voice. Then John the Baptist arrived and the first word he uttered to that ritualistic, tradition trodden, downgraded, hypocritical religious generation was REPENT. Today the word still stands firm. Take up the stumbling block, remove it, break down the satanic stronghold that has corrupted the church to the point of stagnation and repent. I think that it is time to break up our fallow ground, seek the lord and sow to ourselves in RIGHTEOUSNESS. Perish the thought of that man centered happiness teaching that corrupts us all weekly. The gospel is our only means of righteousness and as the times are unfolding makes us all the more unhappy. Righteousness is the pursuit throughout the entire bible. Often times the prophets, who walked closer to God than any of us will, were very unhappy even to the point of crying out to God in despair, “they have broken your law” In the pseudo church of today, they would be cast out and labeled fanatical and heretics. To use another definition of Brother Ravenhill, “The tide has to go out the farthest before it can return.” The church, The nation, the world, has to realize that as we stand at this very moment we are totally barren. The church has never had so little power. The nation has never been so corrupt and full of falsehood and heresy and immorality. The world has never had so many lost people as it does at this moment in time. When we can finally realize the fact that we are so totally barren and lost in falsehood before the eyes of our holy and perfect God, then and only then will we see revival. The answer, I'm convinced, is holiness. We are so proud of our achievements that we fail to see that those same achievements can only be ascribed to the hand of God. We take the credit that rightly belongs to God, and revival tarries. God rejects the proud and gives grace (shows mercy) to the humble, and revival is a supreme act of mercy in the sovereignty of God. With a humbling comes contrition, and God almighty can do the most with a contrite heart. “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” There will come a day, if we seek the lord that he will suddenly fill his temple. “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple,” (Mal. 3:1) So what are we to do? What is the divine answer? Listen to what almighty God says to us! “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” (Hos. 10:12) Amen.

To Live For

I am here. Here am I and so in me is I AM.
Where love is unconditional and freedom is
irresistible. To have with in me a desire to
catch my breath just to go higher, to be
consumed with a Holy fire. To ignite a world to set
ablaze to see it burn for all to gaze…to gaze upon
a cross that would bring us to a cause.. that would
burn away the dross. And cause us to be lost. Lost in awe
of who God is and to see our own identity… we dismiss. To be
captured by what is freeing and to live in a place of waiting.
To be gripped with a calling that would send man falling. Falling
to their knees to die to their own needs. And then to be set ablaze
with none other than the ancient of days. For reason and purpose
that we’ll never understand because it goes beyond the reach of a
human hand. To live in a place of ceaseless praise is worship in motion.
yet empty  without a heart of total devotion. It is just noise and
commotion without the Holy notion of the Holy one that sacrificed His
one and only son. That in His sufferings we may share. To fellowship with
Him in a life of prayer. So here I stand and the "I" in me is shattered.
To  have the heart of God, is really all that ever mattered.
It is the wonder of the ages that I am able to fill such pages
With words that fall short of what is so real. To put into words
is almost to steal…the depth the plow had to till in my heart for
me to be truly set apart. I will continue forever to live in a place of
holiness but until forever dawns may I remain nameless and faceless...

To have reason to give.what I cannot seem to live is
without excuse to misuse what has been given.
Not to mention forgiven. With this revelation
I am in total captivation to surrender to complete
Self-annihilation .
